When they aren't cheese rolling, folk from Gloucester also like to ride the wild bore. Amazing to see a 'wave' so far inland, when the sea is so flat today.
Looks like there were a few people on boards a bit shorter than would be best. I'd like to try it one day but it sounds like there's a lot of 'bore knowledge' to be learned in order to find the best spots to start and the right lines to get a long ride. I bet it's easy to waste a long journey by getting it all wrong!
Nice story Howard. I was at Minsterworth with my camera and saw nowt but the aftermath. Wrong location.
