If you can't buy it, make it.
So its a Single fin 5'10 rounded pin tail; pinched rails and somewhere around 2 1/2" thickness. Its my first foray into mowing foam, and it was an awful lot of fun. Very therapeutic to put my own ideas into a board, with only ones hands to shape and deliver the outcome.

  1. How tricky did you find shaping? You going to glass it yourself & add the fin boxes / glass-ons? Did you do this at home or factory? Let us know how it goes!

  2. hmmm where to start, firstly did it in a friends/shapers factory. So I will call on his expertise for finishing. The actual job was easy, assuming you have a half decent eye, I think the hard work will be when I actually
    surf it : )
I also think doing one offs is a completely different skill than shaping. But as long as it actually surfs, and looks alright, then I reckon it will be a good experience. Only time will tell, so will update when I glass it.
